HOW TO REBUILD A DELTA FAUCET



These are the parts you will need to do the job.
This is a DELTA REPAIR KIT that you can get at any hardware store. 

These are the tools you will need.

Bath faucet and kitchen, have similar methods
                                              no "O" rings in the bath faucet.
 
 Turn off the hot and cold so that you can work on the faucet.
Put the drain plug in so that you do not drop the small part's down the sink.
IT IS NOT FUN PUTTING YOUR HAND IN THE DISPOSAL!
You can uses the delta wrench or you can uses a 1/8th inch Allen wrench to take the handle off .
Remove the handle.
Remove the nut so you can get to the parts that are NO GOOD!
Pull the spout off the faucet.
To do this you will have pull up hard and back and forth.
IT WILL COME OFF .
Remove all the old part's.
Now remove the "o" ring's.
Now lube the  "o" ring's.
Now you have to put the "o"ring's back on the top one first then the bottom one next.
Remove the hot and cold water seat's.
Make sure that you put the small of the spring  part up and the big part down.
Put the spring and seat on delta tool like this.
Put the spring and seat in like this. 
Now do it the same way for the hot water seat.
Put the ball in make sure that you find the pin on the side of the housing.
Like this.
Put the  plastic top together with the rubber bottom. 
Now put it all together like this. 
Put the neck back on just push in down it will go.
When you put the nut on make sure you have the "v" in the front.
Tighten the nut down just till it stops.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN YOU MY HAVE TO DO THIS AGAIN!
Turn the hot and cold water back on.
Now that I have fixed the sink, All I have to do now is get my son out 
of the REFRIGERATOR!!
